Congratulations! You’ve made the decision to embark on a build or renovation to support the way you live! How early should you connect with us? If you’re embarking on a reno or new build, ideally we should be hired at the architectural phase (potentially) prior to finalizing your contractor and definitely before the first swing of the hammer to ensure that all opportunities for ample storage, useable space, furniture layout and accent areas have all be considered as a whole. With respect to décor projects, it is ideal for us to be hired prior to the purchase of any new items.
Interior Design is a process involving a close relationship between the client and the designer to determine needs, wants and direction. At SPDi, our goal is to make the design process an enjoyable one for our clients.
THE STEPS
With respect to interior and architectural design as well as finishing needs, we offer full turn-key services which means we can help you from concept through to completion with everything to do with architectural changes to fluffing that final pillow.
After our call, the first step in our process is a zoom meeting where we will present the way we work, the level of detail we would provide to the construction team and review our Interior Design Services Menu to discuss your fees on the spot after determining and refining your scope of work.
A follow up email will be sent with the breakdown of design fees and once approved, an Interior Design Services proposal based on the required overall scope of work will be sent along with dates to book phase 1 (project kick off and site measure) of our design process.
Once the design is approved and completed, the work can be quoted through your own chosen contractor if you have one, or we can have it tendered out to Sodapop Construction Co.

THE CONCEPT | DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
We develop customized design solutions based on your needs. This includes on-site measurements, furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans, detailed millwork elevations, sourcing fabrics, fixtures and furnishings & sketches as required to illustrate our intent.
We present these to you in a design meeting with physical samples for you to have a closer look and fall in love with the direction for your new space. Upon approval of the design, we finalize all required documentation for implementation purposes
THE IMPLEMENTATION
Between concept and completion, there’s a lot of activity taking place that needs to be tightly managed so that your project runs smoothly and results in a successful outcome.
As the process begins and throughout the duration of your project, Soda Pop Design Inc. will act as your Project Manager and representative in order to successfully implement and manage the interior aspect of your project as needed.
With a network of resources and partnerships, we provide hands-on service from start to finish to bring our vision to life.
